Newest employee recognizes the need for consulting firms to have direct IT expertise
R. Grossman and Associates, Inc., a New Jersey based electronic security consulting firm is pleased to announce the addition of Americo F. DiPrinzio to their team. Rico is RG&A’s sixth employee and the first to be added since the move to their new headquarters facility just over a year ago.
Rico has extensive experience in the design, configuration, and deployment of computer and networking systems. He is transitioning from a military career in the New Jersey National Guard which has included deployment in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. He has worked as an Information Management Officer for the U.S. Army, and provided both Level 1 and Level 2 Help Desk support for the military. In addition to computer and security experience, Rico is also familiar with analog and digital data/voice switching systems and holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Information Systems.
“As a consulting firm, we are expected to keep up with the latest advances in technology from both the Security and IT arenas,” explained Bob Grossman, President and founder of RG&A. “These areas are rapidly converging, and we wanted our next consultant to be trained in the IT perspective. Rico’s hands-on experience, particularly with military field deployments, where IT and security go hand-in-hand will enhance the value that our team brings to our clients.”
“I am looking forward to being a part of the RG&A team,” remarked Rico. “Strategically applying IT infrastructure principals as a part of electronic security system design makes tremendous sense. While serving in the military, I learned first hand the importance of proper network and security planning, and look forward to applying this experience on behalf of our clients.”
